Upcoming Trading Card Releases: Fall 2026 Collector Preview at Deez Cards
Fall is shaping up to be a busy stretch for collectors.
Between baseball, football, Star Wars, Marvel, WWE, tennis, and a few more unusual releases, there is a lot coming over the next several weeks. Some of these are traditional hobby staples, while others are brand new products or first-time combinations that should be interesting to watch.
At Deez Cards, Upstate's Hobby Shop, we are keeping an eye on the release calendar, the products collectors are already asking about, and the cards that could end up becoming the biggest chases from each set.
Whether you are looking for rookies, autographs, numbered parallels, short prints, case hits, or just something fun to rip, here is what is coming.
Release dates are based on the distributor calendar provided to Deez Cards and currently available manufacturer information as of September 24, 2026. Dates and availability can change.

September 30: A Big Day for Football, Star Wars and Tennis
September closes out with three releases that are all aimed at very different collectors.
2026 Bowman Football
This is probably one of the releases we are most interested in seeing hit shelves.
Bowman Football brings active NFL players and current college prospects together in the same product. That gives collectors a chance to chase established NFL stars, current rookies, and 1st Bowman college prospects all within one release.
The college prospect side could be a major part of the appeal. Bowman has always been closely associated with prospecting, and football collectors now get that same opportunity with players who may become future NFL stars.
Names expected around the prospect checklist include quarterbacks and other high-profile college players such as CJ Carr, Bryce Underwood, LaNorris Sellers, and more.
There is also plenty for autograph collectors. Future Script Autos are one of the featured autograph sets, along with 1955 All-American Autograph Variations featuring established football legends.
For collectors who like following players before they become household NFL names, Bowman Football should be a fun product to watch.
2026 Topps Chrome Star Wars
Star Wars and Chrome have always worked well together, and the 2026 version looks like it is going to have a deep checklist.
The set pulls characters and content from throughout the Star Wars universe, including material from The Mandalorian and Grogu, Andor Season 2, and Star Wars: Visions Season 3.
Collectors can expect Chrome parallels, short prints, sketch cards, Debut cards, and plenty of autograph content.
The autograph checklist is where this one gets especially interesting. Names connected to the product include Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Pedro Pascal, Natalie Portman, Hayden Christensen, Ewan McGregor, and Daisy Ridley.
There are also Duo and Trio Autographs for collectors chasing something even bigger.
Other specialty cards include ComicFractors, Cosmic Crystals, Kyber Light, Reflections, original sketch cards, and one-of-one Superfractors.
For Star Wars collectors, this could easily become one of the more popular entertainment releases of the fall.
2026 Topps Chrome Tennis
Tennis cards have been getting more attention over the last few years, and Topps Chrome Tennis continues to build on that momentum.
The checklist combines current stars, younger players, and established names from around the sport.
Collectors can expect Chrome parallels along with players such as Carlos Alcaraz and Coco Gauff.
Some of the bigger insert chases include Game. Set. Match., Helix, and Solus.
Hobby configurations are also expected to contain two Chrome autographs per box, which gives autograph collectors plenty to chase.
Tennis is still a smaller category compared with baseball or football, but that is also part of what makes it interesting. There is still plenty of room for the collecting side of the sport to grow.
October 6: Mars Attacks and Arsenal
October 6 brings two releases that could not be much more different from each other.
2026 Topps Mars Attacks Christmas
This might be one of the strangest products on the calendar, and we mean that in a good way.
Mars Attacks gets a Christmas theme with a new story-driven 50-card base set.
The autograph checklist is where things really get unusual. Caught in the Crossfire autographs are expected to include names such as Mike Tyson, Dennis Rodman, and Jeff Goldblum.
Collectors can also find relic cards, sketch cards, numbered parallels, and special Rip Card-style content.
It is definitely not your typical sports card release, but products like this usually appeal to collectors who want something completely different from the usual checklist.
2026-27 Arsenal FC Collector Tin
Soccer collectors also get an Arsenal-specific product on October 6.
Each Collector Tin contains 35 cards along with two sequentially numbered parallels. Select tins can also contain autograph cards.
Club-specific releases tend to appeal to both traditional card collectors and fans who simply want cards featuring their favorite team.
For Arsenal supporters, this should be an easy product to keep an eye on.
October 7: Allen & Ginter and Museum Collection
Baseball collectors get two very different experiences on October 7.
2026 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball
Allen & Ginter has always been one of those products where almost anything can show up.
The set mixes baseball players with personalities, historical subjects, pop culture, and other non-baseball cards.
That unpredictability is a big part of why people enjoy opening it.
Rip Cards return, which means collectors once again have to decide whether to keep the numbered card intact or tear it open to see what is hidden inside.
Other chase cards include one-of-one Cut Signatures, Mini Autographs, Chrome and Metal Minis, Stained Glass variations, relics, and non-baseball autographs.
The baseball checklist also includes major names such as Shohei Ohtani, Aaron Judge, Francisco Lindor, Mickey Mantle, and Derek Jeter, along with a large group of rookies.
Allen & Ginter is one of those products where the fun comes from not always knowing what the next card is going to be.
2026 Topps Museum Collection Baseball
Museum Collection is almost the complete opposite of Allen & Ginter.
Museum is built around premium cards, autographs, and memorabilia.
Collectors can look for on-card autographs, premium relics, autograph relic cards, and high-end specialty designs.
Some of the bigger chase categories include Museum Framed Autographs, Lifetime Members Relic Autographs, and Atelier Autographed Book cards.
If you prefer chasing a smaller number of higher-end hits instead of opening a large base-heavy product, Museum Collection is usually one of the better options on the calendar.
October 14: Update Series and Marvel
October 14 should be another major release day.
2026 Topps Update Series Baseball
Topps Update is always one of the biggest baseball releases of the year because it gives collectors another chance to chase players who emerged during the season.
For 2026, Update also finishes out Topps Baseball's 75th Anniversary year.
The rookie checklist is expected to include names such as JJ Wetherholt, Kevin McGonigle, Carson Benge, Justin Crawford, Travis Bazzana, and Konnor Griffin.
This is the type of release that rookie collectors pay close attention to because some players receive important flagship rookie cards or variations here.
There are also plenty of premium chases.
Collectors can look for 1952 Topps rookie variations, Golden Mirror Legend Variations, Heavy Lumber, Home Field, Real One Autographs, Flagship Autograph Patch cards, and 75th Anniversary autograph content.
Hobby boxes are expected to contain an autograph or relic, while Jumbo boxes increase the hit content with an autograph and relic.
If you collect rookies, build flagship sets, or just like traditional Topps Baseball, Update Series should be one of the biggest releases to watch this fall.
2026 Topps Neon Marvel
Marvel collectors get something completely different on the same day.
Topps Neon Marvel leans heavily into bright artwork and modern design, with characters pulled from comics, animation, gaming, and other parts of the Marvel universe.
Content includes characters connected with Marvel Rivals, Marvel Snap, and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.
Collectors can chase original artwork, sketch cards, artist autographs, cast autographs, Marquee Motion lenticular cards, and other rare inserts.
Hobby also includes exclusive Chrome Neon Etch variations and Sparkle Foil parallels.
Marvel has a much larger audience than just traditional card collectors, so releases like this can attract people who might not normally walk into a card shop looking for sports cards.
October 21: Holiday Baseball and Heritage Football
October 21 brings two products built heavily around nostalgia and collecting for fun.
2026 Topps Holiday Baseball
Topps Holiday has become a regular seasonal release and is usually one of the more approachable baseball products of the year.
The cards take familiar flagship designs and add holiday-themed parallels, variations, and inserts.
For 2026, collectors can look for Metallic Gingerbread Man cards, Snow Days, Hidden Elf variations, and Making the NICE List! die-cuts.
Different formats also bring different exclusive cards.
Hobby Tins are expected to contain six Holiday Lights parallels, while Advent Calendars contain 24 packs along with two exclusive Chrome Plaid parallels.
Holiday is usually a good product for families, younger collectors, set builders, and anyone who wants a fun seasonal rip without needing everything to be ultra-premium.
2026 Topps Heritage Football
Heritage Football brings the look of 1976 Topps Football into a modern NFL product.
That vintage design gives it a completely different feel from products like Bowman Football.
Collectors can chase Real One Autographs, Image Variations, Heritage Rookie Autographs, Base Chrome Autographs, and Locker Room Collection Autograph Relics.
Heritage products usually appeal to collectors who appreciate older card designs, traditional set building, and a more classic look.
October 23: Stadium Club Comes to WWE
2026 Topps Stadium Club WWE
This is an interesting one because it marks the first Topps Stadium Club WWE release.
Stadium Club has always been known for photography, and wrestling gives Topps a lot of great material to work with.
Collectors can expect full-bleed imagery, action shots, and the kind of photography-driven cards that Stadium Club is known for.
Parallels include Photographer's Proof, Gold Minted, and Red, White & Blue, while familiar Stadium Club inserts such as Beam Team and Triumvirates also appear.
Autograph collectors can look for Dual Autographs, Inked Autographs, Abstract Autographs, and The Aftermath Autographs.
Hobby boxes are expected to contain two autographs per box.
Because this is the first year of Stadium Club WWE, it will be interesting to see how collectors respond to it once the cards are actually in hand.
The Releases We're Watching Closely
There are quite a few products on this calendar that stand out for different reasons.
Bowman Football is interesting because it brings Bowman-style prospecting into football in a much bigger way.
Topps Update Series Baseball will probably get plenty of attention from rookie collectors, especially as the season's emerging players get their flagship cards.
Topps Chrome Star Wars has a strong autograph checklist and enough specialty inserts to appeal to serious Star Wars collectors.
Allen & Ginter is always worth watching because it is one of the few products where the strangest card in the box might also be the most memorable.
And Stadium Club WWE is brand new territory for the Stadium Club name, which makes the first release interesting on its own.
That is what makes this stretch of the calendar fun. There is no single product that everyone has to collect. Baseball collectors, football collectors, wrestling fans, Star Wars collectors, Marvel fans, soccer collectors, and even tennis collectors all have something coming.
