2023-24 Upper Deck SPx Hockey Hobby Box

The 2023–24 Upper Deck SPx Hockey Hobby Box is a premium, one-pack product built around autographs, memorabilia, serial-numbered rookies and the darker high-end UD Black designs. Every box contains only five cards, with each card intended to be a hit, numbered card or premium insert rather than ordinary base filler.

Each box delivers, on average:

• 1 autograph

• 4 memorabilia and/or premium non-autograph cards

• 1 pack per box

• 5 cards total
  

The 200-card base set is split between 100 veteran stars and 100 rookies, with every base card serial-numbered to 299. The rookie checklist is led by Connor Bedard, along with Logan Cooley, Leo Carlsson, Adam Fantilli and Matthew Knies.

The main rookie autograph chases include Rookie Auto Jerseys and Rookie Auto Patches, including retro cards based on the popular 2003–04 SPx design. Low-numbered Spectrum versions and one-of-one Gold Spectrum Auto Patches provide the highest-end rookie targets.

The box also includes premium UD Black content such as Lustrous Rookie Signatures, Pride of a Nation Rookie Auto Patches and other low-numbered autograph or memorabilia cards. Additional designs include Radiance FX, Finite Rookies, Starscape Shadow Box and NHL Shield hologram parallels.
