2023-24 Upper Deck Skybox E-X 2000 Hobby Box

The 2023–24 Skybox E-X 2000 Hockey Hobby Box brings the famous 1996–97 E-X 2000 look to hockey, using cloudy backgrounds, bold retro graphics, Light FX technology and die-cut inserts. It is a nostalgia-driven product, but the checklist centers on modern NHL stars and the loaded 2023–24 rookie class.

The 150-card base set contains 100 veteran cards and 50 rookies. The rookie checklist is highlighted by Connor Bedard, along with Logan Cooley, Leo Carlsson, Adam Fantilli and Matthew Knies. A typical Hobby box delivers approximately 24 veteran base cards and 12 rookie cards, making rookies a major part of the break rather than a scarce occasional pull.

Each box contains, on average:

• 24 base cards

• 12 base rookie cards

• 8 insert cards

• 2 base or rookie parallels
  

Collectors can chase seven levels of Credentials parallels, including the one-of-one VIP Credentials. The insert lineup mixes new designs such as Index Movers, Reverberation and Double Helix with throwbacks from the original E-X era, including Hall or Nothing and E-Xceptional. Select cards also have autograph parallels, but an autograph is not guaranteed in every box.
