2023-24 Upper Deck MVP Hobby

The 2023–24 Upper Deck MVP Hockey Hobby Box is an affordable, high-card-count NHL release built around veterans, stars and the first rookie cards issued for the season. The 250-card base checklist consists of 200 regular cards and 50 short-printed stars and rookies, with several Hobby-exclusive parallels and redemption chases.

Each Hobby Box contains 160 cards and delivers the following on average:

• 20 Ice Battles parallels

• 10 High Series Star or Rookie SP cards

• 5 Silver Script parallels

• 5 Alternate Threads and/or Stars of the Rink inserts

• 4 20th Anniversary cards

• 4 Ice Reps cards

• 1 Colors & Contours or 20th Anniversary parallel

• 1 rare-hit card 
  

The Ice Battles parallels replace the normal card-back statistics with five game categories—Overall, Speed, Strength, Skill and Awareness—allowing collectors to use the cards for pack-battle style games. One Ice Battles card appears in every pack on average.
