2022 Upper Deck AEW Skybox Metal Universe Hobby Box

The 2022 Upper Deck AEW Skybox Metal Universe Hobby Box is the first Metal Universe release devoted to All Elite Wrestling. It blends AEW’s roster with the loud, space-themed artwork and nostalgic insert designs associated with classic Skybox Metal products. The 150-card base set contains 100 regular cards and 50 short-printed stars, with one short print appearing in every pack on average.

The central chase is the Precious Metal Gems parallel program. Red PMGs are numbered to 100, with copies 1–10 carrying the Green PMG treatment, while Gold PMGs are one-of-one cards. PMGs are available for both the regular base set and the high-series short prints, making top-name PMGs among the strongest possible pulls.

Collectors can also chase rare Jambalaya cards, autographs, printing plates and the 50-card 1997–98 Retro set, which places AEW wrestlers into the classic Metal Universe design with individualized cosmic backgrounds. A typical box includes three Retro cards and three Skybox Premium cards, but an autograph or PMG is not guaranteed in every box.
